Synopsis
Search & Rescue Denim crafts apronts for chefs like Jamie Oliver and mixologist “Bad Birdy” (aka Amanda Colom). With such high profile clients they wanted to polish the existing custom order section of their website. They also wanted to streamline the process so it would be easier to understand. Their existing design was one long scrolling page. To create more clarity I split the process into distinct and focused steps.
before after
Before

They needed a better way.

Their existing order form was a long text-based page with rough outline drawings as the only visuals. Clients ended up making countless phone calls and sending droves of emails trying to find clarity. This inefficient process was costing them time and money.

After

Streamlined.
Logical.
Focused.

S&R Denim commissioned 3D models for all of their aprons. One of the hallmarks of their aprons is the customizability of each element. Rendering every possibility didn’t make financial sense so I created dynamic line art overlays that could be positioned any way required dramatically reducing production costs and production time. Win, win.

Clients can now clearly see all the apron’s elements, add their own logos, rotate the apron and zoom in for more details.
